This subject introduces students to the role of law in society and the Australian Legal system with an in-depth analysis of the laws governing business transactions. Topics covered include contracts law, tort law, law of agency, sale of goods, partnerships and consumer protection law. Lectures will also cover the commercial legal responsibilities and associated risks of doing business.
